From Innovatrombone and in collaboration with Muv.ac we continue to inform trombonists about the different job offers in Orchestras. On this occasion we talk about Gürzenich-Orchester Köln and the Illes Balears Symphony Orchestra.
Gürzenich-Orchester Köln
The orchestra has its origins in the year 1827 and develops its activity in the German city of Köln.
The orchestra offers a principal trombone position for reinforcement with immediate incorporation and the tests will be held at the Orchestra’s headquarters on 24.09.2019 at 14:00h.

Orquesta Sinfónica Illes Balears (Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra)
The Illes Baleares Symphony Orchestra is a symphony group that has its origins in 1988, with headquarters in the city of Palma de Mallorca (Spain).
The orchestra offers a teaching position of the foundation’s artistic staff, specialty tenor trombone, assistant soloist position and a teaching position of the foundation’s artistic staff, specialty tenor trombone/bass trombone, assistant soloist position.
First exercise: With curtain. Eliminatory for candidates who score less than 6 out of 10. It will consist of the interpretation, with cadences where appropriate, of the concert and the interpretation of the orchestral solo in Annex III.
Second exercise: With curtain. Eliminatory for candidates who score less than 6.5 out of 10. It will consist of the interpretation of the work for trombone or bass trombone established in the annex, and the interpretation of a maximum of three orchestral fragments at the choice of the Court among those in annex III.
Third exercise: Without curtain. Qualifying competition for applicants who score less than 7 out of 10. It will consist of the interpretation of several orchestral fragments at the choice of the Tribunal from those listed in annex III, and the interpretation of a fragment at first sight.
